First Eye look:.em Shade play artistic Tokyo Plums

Hello my MJF stars,
I have an eye look to show you using the em Shade play artistic Tokyo Plums which I won. I also had a giveaway for 3 awhile ago and finally got around using it. This is the first eye look.

Sephora perfecting eye primer
Avon Big Color Eye Pencil Vanilla
.em shade play  artistic eye color palette Tokyo Plums
2: cease
5:eyelid
6: inner eyelid
4:Brow Bone
3: outer v
Milani infinite liquid eyeliner Endless
Avon Big Color Eye Pencil Lavender mist: lower lashes base for 6, 5 and 2
Wet N Wild Max Volume Plus Mascara Amp'd Black

After doing this eye look and swatch this palette I was not impressed. I used a primer as well as a base. But still the eyeshadows were not as bright and pigment as in the pans. :0( I really like the eye look but I thought it would of been brighter with a base to help the pigmentation. I'm not trying to be negitive but just saying how it is. If you want to see the rest of the swatches and full review check out my review post. Any ways I'm sorta happy with the eye look because they are pretty eyeshadows but they could of been better. I might have to try another eye look with a different base.

What do you think?

Review: Em Cosmetics Tokyo Plum

Hello my MJF stars,
I'm to tell you my thoughts on the em shade play tokyo plum palette that I won a while ago and finally getting around to review. So lets get into what I think about this eyeshadow palette.

palette in box front

back of palette box

I really like the box the palette is in its colorful and bright which I hope the eyeshadows are also colorful and bright. It also nicely deigned too.

front of palette

back of palette

I wish the palette looked as pretty as the box. It looks more mondern and sleek then fun and colorful like its box. I'm just confussed because usually you want the box to go with the palette right? or is it just me? any ways least see they eyeshadows right!?

inside of palette

inside and closeup of eyeshadows

I like that there is a nice size mirror and it cam with some eyeshadow brushes that are ok but I probably will not use because they are so small. There are mix of shimmers and mattes but I'm don't under stand the sizes of each eyeshadow pans. I guess the larger ones are for eyelid and smaller ones for crease and liner? I wish they were all the same size. so lets see those swatches.

swatches with flash

swatches with flash and numered
As you see in the swatches they are not very pigmented which is a bummer. If they were as bright as in the pan it would of been great. Also the eyeshadow colors are look so similar in color would be hard to do a nice eye look. I did do any eye look with this palette and I was not impressed. I used a primer and base to help the pigmentation which did not work. :0( Also because colors are so close in color it was hard to do a nice because they blened together. I really don't think this eyeshadow palette is worth $20 something. I hoped this eyeshadow would be nice since it was made by makeup youtuber but it was not. I would not recommend this palette at all you can get better palette from drug store brands which are less expecenive.

If you like to see the eye look I created click here.

what do you think? do you own any of the em cosmetic products?

Hello my MJF stars,
I have a Big Lots haul to show you. If you follow me on instagram you know how happy I was to find something(s) in this haul. So lets see what I got right?!

Youtube Video:

I found more of the Pure Ice nail polishes and got one that was so pretty not pass up for $.75 which was Bedtime. I was also excited to find the Covergirl StarWars The Force Awakens Lipsticks for $1.00 each. I'm so happy that I did not pay full price for these when they first came out. I got all of the colors they had which are 50 (dark purple with purple shimmer), 20 (lavender purple with sliver shimmer), 60 (nude/pink with shimmer)  and 40 (gold/yellow with gold shimmer). I also found a L'Oreal infallible eye crayon for $2.80 in the color 707 Resilient Green.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my Big Lots haul.

Skinny Dip Mani

Hello my MJF Stars,
I have another mani to show for Manicure Mondays. This time its one of the nail polishes I won from orly recently. When I saw this nail polish in the bottle I had to put on my nails, just saying.

indoor lighting with flash

No flash and outside lighting
Products used:
Revlon ColorStay Base
Orly Skinny Dip
Milani Quick Shine Top

When I saw this nail polish color in the bottle it's a pretty blue that I had to put on my nails. When I applied it to my nail I was bummed to see that it was a matte polish. The reason Iwas bummed is that I'm not a fan of matte polishes because I don't like how they look and two they always chip fast on me. But I'm happy to say that it did not chip and I just put a top coat to make it shinny. Also with the top coat you can see the hit of shimmer which you can't see in the photos but its pretty. If you love these type of blue nail polishes then you need yo get Skinny Dip its a prefect summer color or all year round color.

I hope you enjoyed this mani for Manicure Mondays.

Hello my MJF stars,
I'm here to show you some hauls from 99 cents only store that are from awhile ago and been meaning to show you. So lets see what I found at 99 cents only store.

Youtube video of hauls:

A while go I found a zebra Pillow Pets Dream Lites Mini but I really wanted the Rainbow Unicorn so I'm happy to show you that they got more in and they had the Rainbow Unicorn. I also picked up some Shave guard 3 pack razors which I really like to use.

In this haul I picked up another can of the Suave Professional Replenishing Spray Lotion Sea Mineral because I really like it and if I run out I know they will be gone. I also picked up some Curad Flex-Fabric Bandage 30 count. I found this Disney Star Wars Yoda 6 Color Pen which you know I love star wars and yoda so I had to get it. I also found the Imperial Wood Free 12 Color Pencils which look like they are good quality color pencils so I got a pack to try. I also got this pack of Liqui-mark Color Therapy 4 Fine Point Felt Tip Markers which I though I would give them a try.

In this haul I found this pretty Truly Home Chindi Rug ($1.99) so I picked up for my room. I also got this Storage Container With Assorted Color Lid ($1.99) because I always need storage containers to organize something right?! It also a good price for the size. I also found these Tech and Go Headphone Splitter Cable in Blue and  Green because I lost my other one and need another. I also gave the blue one to my mom. First Eye Look: Wet N Wild Fergie Metropolitan Nights

Hello my MJF stars,
I'm here to show you a eye look using one of the Wet N Wild Fergie eyeshadow palettes that I got from Dollar Tree. For this eye look I used the eyeshadow palette that I was debating on buy it which is Metropolitan Nights.

Eye Look using Metropolitan Nights

Metropolitan Nights palette numbered

Products I used:
Sephora perfecting eye primer
Avon Big Color Eye Pencil Vanilla
Wet N Wild Fergie Metropolitan Nights:
2: eyelid
3:Brow Bone and inner corner
4: crease
Jordana Cateye Liner Black Leather
Wet N Wild Max Volume Plus Mascara Amp'd Black

When I saw #2 in pan I wanted to make that the main eye lid color as you see it looks very different. The glitter you see in the pan did not translate on to the eye lid which is a bummer. :0( Also I used #3 as a brow bone highlight which you can't really see because it barley showed up. I was really disappointed with this eyeshadow palette I hope the other ones are better. I have not tried them yet because I was so disappointed with this one. The eye look came out ok but I wish the eyeshadows looked like in the pan. I do not recommend this one from the Wet N Wild Fergie line if you find it at Dollar Tree.

Dollar Tree Hauls

Hello my MJF stars,
Today is my birthday!!! I'm writing/posting/uploading this video on the day before so what better to post on my birthday is some things I found at Dollar Tree which is one of my favorite stores to shop.
So lets see what goodies I found this time :0).

Here is my Video of the goodies I found if you like to check it out:

This first one was from a few different dollar trees when I went on my Arizona trip last month because you know when I see a Dt I have to see if they have things that I have looking for at my Dollar Trees. So I found some makeup that I've been looking for. I got E.l.f studio baked eyeshadow trio in Smoky Sea, Wet N Wild megawear enhance & define mascara in very black. I also found more of the Wet N Wild Fergie on edge longwearing eye pencil in HyperSky and China White. I also found two of the E.l.f studio long lasting lustrous eyeshadow in Toast and Gala. I can't wait to try the lustrous eyeshadows they are so pretty.

I also finally found the unicorn mug by Royal Norfolk that everyone been hauling and I did not find at my dollar trees and so happy to have one.

Recently I went to dollar tree and picked up some things. I love DreamWorks How to train a dragon so when I saw these fruit snacks I had to get them. They are so good. I also picked up some of the True Lemon that I have been want to try because I love ice tea. I really like it and I will probably going to get more.

I also went to look at the books to see if they had anything that I had to have and If you know me well you know I love the show Duck Dynasty on A&E so when I saw these two books at Dollar Tree I had to get them. They are Happy, Happy, Happy by Phil Robertson and Si-Cology 1 by Si Robertson. I already read a few chapters of Si-cology 1 and been loving it.

I also went to dollar tree a couple days ago, to see if they had anything that I have been looking for and found the Essentials vanity organizer which I had to get. I still have not used them yet because I have to reorganize my makeup.

I hope you enjoyed seeing what I hauled from Dollar Tree.

L'Oréal Voluminous Vox Box: Eye look and Review

Hello my MJF stars,
I'm here to show you an eye look that I did with the products I got in the L'Oréal Voluminous Vox Box and a review of the items I used.
Eye look
Eye Look:
Sephora perfecting eye primer
L'Oréal Colour Riche Eye Shadow 207 Pain Au Chocolat:  eyelid blended to brow bone
200 Paris Beach: brow bone
L'Oréal infallible Never fail Mechanical Eyeliner Black
L'Oréal Voluminous Base White Primer Base
L'Oréal Voluminous Original Mascara Blackest Black

Brows: L'Oréal Brow Stylist Prep & Shape Pro Kit Light Medium

I did a everyday wearable eye look using the two eye shadows that was in the vox box with a eyeshadow primer which they did not give me in this box. I really enjoyed the formula of the eyeshadows they were nice and creamy with out being to soft. There was little to no fall out which nice even with the shimmer eyeshadow called Pain Au Chocolat which is pretty color. I also really like Paris beach which a perfect brow bone highlight eyeshadow. It reminds me of Wet N Wild Brulee but creamer with less fall out which is going to be my new go to highlight eyeshadow to use. I also really liked the infallible Never fail Mechanical Eyeliner Black which was easy to apply and it was nice that it came with sharpener to get a point when it wears down. It also was nice as a lower lash liner too which I did in this eye look but on outer half the bottom lash. I also tried the Brow Stylist Prep & Shape Pro Kit Light Medium but I think the color it too light because my hair is a darker brown but I still really liked it. It is nice that it came with some tweezer, angled brush and spoolie brush. I really like the wax because it had nice brown tint for days that I don't want to use the powder to keep my brows tamed in place. I probably be using that because the powder it to light.

Now lets get into what I thought of the L'Oréal Voluminous Base White Primer Base and L'Oréal Voluminous Original Mascara Blackest Black.
comparison with and without mascara and primer

As you can see it gave my short but simi-thick lashes length and more thickness which it clams. I also think it give my a little lift. I really like this mascara and primer because it separates and makes the lashes thicker with length without clumping together. There no flaking which also a plus. It also easy to remove with just makeup wipes.

I must disclose that I received these products complimentary for testing purposes. I totally recommend all of these products even though I received these products for free. If you are a fan of L'Oréal Voluminous Original Mascara you should really try out the primer too.

Bath & Body Works Haul

Hello my MJF stars,
I have a Bath and Body Works haul that I hauled awhile ago during the clearance sale last month. So lets get into what I got.

Youtube Video of Haul:

I've been wanting to pick up more of the Shower gels because I really like them and they had the m75% off so I picked three of the 75% shower gels.
So the first one I was the Raspberry & Sweet Mint shower gel which was $3.13 then with the coupon I had it came out to $2.52. I also got Be Joyful shower gel for $3.13 then with the coupon was $2.52. The last one from the 75% off was Pear Blossom Air shower gel that was $3.12 with the coupon was $2.51.

On the way out I saw  Hawaii Collection with the Golden Pineapple Luau which I guess I missed because it was on the other side in the corner. The reason I went in was to get a shower gel and the mist. So I grabbed the last shower gel of the Golden Pineapple which was $6.25 originally $12.50 and I also got the Golden Pineapple Luau fine fragrance mist that was $7.00 originally $14.00.

I also got some mini candles in Island Margarita and Golden Pineapple Luau. They were 3 for $6.00 with coupon the were 3 for $4.83 so they were $1.61 each which was a really good deal.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my haul.

Milani Quick Shine Top Coat

This weeks mani I used Hydrangeas Are My Fav which is a cream nail polish as a base for Ever After which is from the new L.A. Colors Color Last line which I been want to try to see how it compares to Color Craze line.  I looked at Ever After and thought it would be best as topper which I was right it looks so pretty over Hydrangeas Are My Fav. I really like the Color Last line from L.A. colors and might have to do a review on it.

I hope you enjoyed this weeks Manicure for Manicure Mondays.

Hello my MJF stars,
I have another eye look to show you and this time its a 4th of July themed eye look. I hope everyone had a nice 4th of July. I had a nice weekend. So let see what I created this time right?!
without glitter

with glitter
Products I used:
Sephora perfecting eye primer
Nyx Jumbo Eye pencil cottage cheese: eyelid
Milani Bella Eyez Gel Powder Eyeshadows-  Bella Silver: Eyelid and Bella Navy: crease
E.l.f Makeup Mist & Set to wet my brush for the bella eyes eyeshadows
Wet N Wild Single Eyeshadow Brulee: Brow Bone
Make up  ForEver Aqua Cream shade 28708: eyeliner
Wet N Wild Max Volume Plus Mascara Amp'd Black
Nyx Candy Glitter liner Disco Ball on top of Bella Silver

I wanted to do a red, silver and blue eye look so I took out my Bella eyez eyeshadows that I love. I don't have red eyeliner so I used Make up Forever aqua cream. I'm really happy how this eye look came out but I wanted to add more glitter so I added Nyx candy glitter liner in Disco ball which made it even prettier in my option but if you're not into glitter it looks pretty without it. Also I don't know why the blue looks different than in person it's darker. It might of been the flash?
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed seeing this eye look.
