Second Eye Look: Makeup Revolution Mint Chocolate Eyeshadow Palette

Hello my MJF stars,
I have another eye look to share with you using the Makeup Revolution Mint Chocolate eyeshadow Palette. So lets get into what I created this time.

Products I used:
Avon Eyeshadow Primer light Beige
NYX Glitter Primer : center eyelid
Makeup Revolution Mint Chocolate Eyeshadow Palette:
Secret: Crease and bottom lash
Commotion: Eyelid
Sugarcoated: inner eyelid
Confession: Brow Bone
L.A. Girl Grafix eyeliner Black
Covergirl Lashblast Fusion Mascara Black

I really wanted to use Commotion which is Mint/teal shimmer shade which is so pretty. I decided to put Commotion on my eyelid. I first put Secret in the crease and then put Commotion on the eyelid with the help of NYX glitter primer to get most of the shimmer in the eyeshadow since the shimmer shadows are buttery soft in a good way. I used Confession on the brow bone to bend out edges of Secret. I then put Sugarcoated in my inner eyelid. To smoke it put I put Secret on my bottom lash. I also did my winged liner and mascara. I really love how this eye look came out. I love all of the colors in this Mint Chocolate Palette and can't wait to create another eye look with it.
If you like to see my Review of it is a few posts down from last monday.

Snow Me White and Pink Blue Splatter Glitter Mani

Hello my MJF stars,
I'm here with another mani for Manicure Mondays so lets get into what I put on my nails this time.

Inside lighting with flash

Outside lighting with flash

Outside lighting no flash

Products I used:
Sinful Colors Snow Me White
Black Heart Beauty Pink Blue Splatter Glitter
Jordana Quick Shine Top Coat

I forgot I even owned this Black Heart polish because I bought it and put in my displayed with the other skull polishes that I own. So I finally decided to wear it. I thought a color polish could not give this pretty red, blue, purple and neon pink glitter polish justice. I knew that it need to go over white so I pulled out my favorite white polish by Sinful Colors called Snow Me White. I really loved how the glitter polish looked over the white. I might have to try over a pastel color next time.

I hope you enjoyed this weeks mani for Manicure Mondays.

I'm here with another mani for Manicure Mondays so lets get into what I put on my nails this time.

Inside lighting with flash

Outside lighting with flash

Outside lighting no flash
Products I used:
Orly Top2 Bottom Base Coat
Disney Tsum tsum smackers Misstress Of All Evil
Jordana Quick Shine Top Coat

I finally got around to wearing the other Lip Smacker nail polish that I bought last Halloween from Bath and Body Works. It reminded me of a nail polish I loved from Wet N Wild but it close but not the same. Even though its not the same this polish is pretty. I love this teal metallic with hit of shimmer in it which was a surprise since you can't see it in the bottle. They formula is same as the Ursula polish. I really like this polish and if you can still find it you should pick it up to try.

I hope you enjoyed this weeks mani.

First Eye Look: Makeup Revolution Mint Chocolate Eyeshadow Palette

Hello my MJF stars,
I'm here to share my first eye look using the Makeup Revolution Mint Chocolate eyeshadow Palette. Lets get into what I create with this palette.

Products I used:
NYX Glitter Primer
Makeup Revolution Mint Chocolate Eyeshadow Palette:
Tea: Crease
Lust: Eyelid
Poison Ivy: outer v and bottom lash
High Standards: inner eyelid
Confession: Brow Bone
L.A. Girl Grafix eyeliner Black
Covergirl Lashblast Fusion Mascara Black

For this eye look I wanted to use the Lust which is a pinky nude with a teal/green shift which I had to use on my eyelid. I used Tea in the crease. I wanted to one of the green eyeshadows so I decided to put Poison Ivy in the outer v and crease which I think it made the green pop in Lust. I put Confession on my brow bone and High Standard in my inner eyelid. Since I liked Poison Ivy I put it on the bottom lash to smoke it out. I really love how this eye look came out. I really like this palette and can't wait to create another eye look with it.

Review: Makeup Revolution Mint Chocolate Eyeshadow Palette

Hello my MJF stars,
I'm here to share my thoughts on this Makeup Revolution Mint Chocolate eyeshadow Palette that I got from Ulta Beauty.
I was so happy to see a much larger display of Makeup Revolution produces because I really love there makeup. They even had palettes on display to swatch which made me happy to I see the eyeshadow not just the picture that's on the back of the boxes.

Here is the palette in the box which you can see the picture of the shadows which like I said are hard to tell what they really look like.

Here is the palette out of the box. It is a hard plastic which does not feel cheap. I love the two tone of the mint chocolate bar. Wish all palettes are made as good as these makeup revolution palettes. Let get into the inside the eyeshadows.

Top: inside lighting with flash and Bottom: inside lighting no flash

Top: inside light with flash and Bottom: inside lighting no flash

Top Row: SugarCoated (Shimmer), Engaged (shimmer), Tea (matte), Lust (shimmer) and Poison Ivy (matte)
Middle Row: Secret (matte), Worlds Apart (matte), Distorted (shimmer), Rivals (shimmer), Interupted (matte) and Compromise (shimmer).
Bottom Row: Awaken (matte), Disturbance (shimmer), Commontion (shimmer), High Standards (shimmer) and Confession (matte)

As you can see there are a mix of mattes and shimmers which I like because its easy to create eye looks with a good amount of mattes and shimmers. There are browns, reds, nudes, greens and yellow/ gold which I would never thing to put in one palette and they work together.
All of the swatches are on bare skin with no primer. The only eye shadow that I had to swatch twice was Poison Ivy which for me is not a big thing because it performers better with eye primer.
I have created a few looks with it already and really love each look I created with this palette. I never get stuck of what to create with palette.
I love the mattes which are blend able and pigmented enough to get what you want out of the shade. I also enjoyed the shimmers which are smooth and pigmented but I recommend to apply wet or with a glitter primer to get the most of the shimmer of the shade. I used NYX glitter primer it works well to get full effect of the shimmer of the shadows. There are a little bit of fall out but if you don't press to hard into palette and tap of some product before applying there is no fall out. I really like this palette and I would totally recommend it because it's unique and it has a good price point.

What do you think of this palette? Are you fan of Makeup Revolution if so which is your favorite products?

Ulta Beauty Haul

Hello my MJF stars,
I have a Ulta Beauty Haul to share with you. The reason I went to Ulta is because I went to Sephora first to by the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette because they had it on sale but when I got there they were sold out. Well they didn't even have in stock before the sale so that made me mad why do they do that so I just left empty handed. I remembered that Ulta had Makeup Revolution Chocolate palettes on sale so I decided to go check them out. So lets get into what I got this time.

I saw they had all of the Makeup Revolution Chocolate palettes on sale for $7.50 which they are usually $15.00 each. So since I could not get Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette from Sephora. I decided to picked up two of the Makeup Revolution palettes. I got the Mint Chocolate because when I saw it on IG. I had to have it. I also picked up Death By Chocolate because looked similar to the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette. Also the Mint Chocolate Palette smells like Mint Chocolate and the Death By Chocolate smelled like Chocolate which is a plus.

I was also happy to find two Wet N Wild full stocked displays of the new collections which was the Flights Of Fancy and the Goth-o-graphic. I wanted only one thing from the Flights of Fancy collection which was the ColorIcon Baked blush in Hummingbird Hype which as you see I got and it was $4.99. I also got the megaglo highlighting powder that I wanted from the Goth-o-graphic collection which I was sold out at Walgreens. It was White Raven it was also $4.99. They also had the loose powder but I'm not fan of loose powders so I skipped on that. I also used my 20% off coupon and since Makeup Revolution is drug store makeup I got one of the palettes for $6.00 instead of $7.50. I really happy with my haul and I hope you enjoyed seeing it.

I put Yo Ho on my eyelid. I used Arrgh! in my outer v and bottom lash to smoke it out. I used Shiver me in my inner eyelid. Sky's The Limit Mani

Hello my MJF stars,
I'm here with another mani to share with you for Manicure Mondays. So let's get into what I put on my nails this time.

Inside lighting with flash

Outside lighting with flash

Outside lighting no flash
Products I used:
Orly Top2 Bottom Base Coat
Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy Sky's The Limit
Jordana Quick Dry Topcoat

When I saw Sky's The Limit in bottle at Dollar Tree it looked so pretty that I had to get it. It looks like a metallic teal blue color. Its more teal than blue on the nails which is still pretty. The formula is pretty good but I did four coats just in case because its little sheer. I wish is was more teal blue than silvery metallic but I still like this color. I'm really happy how this mani came out and would totally recommend this polish is you love metallic nail polishes but if you not fan you should skip.

I hope you enjoyed this weeks mani.
