Thanksgiving Theme Nail Art

Hello again I'm back with my Thanksgiving nail art for tomorrow.

This a pretty easy nail art design with a base color of a brown and I chose this brown color I got like a month ago which I really like. The brown color is the Sinful Color in Leather Loose and its a matte polish which I don't like as you know from my other posts. The second polish is a orange glitter polish by Jordana. I have a few of the Jordana Glitter nail polishes and I really like them. The one I used for this nail art design is the Copper Blaze it has big hexagon glitter with little glitter which is so pretty. I used NYC in a New York minute quick dry in Grand Central Station as a top coat.

I did a gradient of glitter started at the tips and doted some glitter to base of the nails all except the ring figure where I covered the whole nail with two coats of Copper Blize.

I really like how they came out.

Opening My First Pinchme box

Hello I'm back again with a opening of my first Pinchme box.I not going to great detail of what a Pinchme is but its a web site program of where you do surveys and get free samples in the mail just like freeflys. Where I get samples like the bodycology sample I reviewed as well as the Style box of Joy I posted today. 

Here is the box it came in:The two productes I picked was Pantene Expert Advanced Keratin Repair shampoo and split end fuser. I also got Honey Bunches of Oats Greek Honey Crunch. I know its not makeup or TV show or movie related but it was in the box.

So here is the card on what Pinchme is and if you like getting free samples you should give it a try.

Opening of My Style Box of Joy

Hello again I'm back with something I really excited to open well I already open because I could not wait.

I was lucky to be one of 5,000 people to get this free Style Box of Joy.

They did not tell us what we will be getting in the box but that it would have makeup and fashion in it. When I saw makeup I said yes please I want it and for free yes again.

So couple days ago I got email that the box was on its way and I totally forgot all about it. They gave me a tracking number so I have been checking for it and saw it was close to being my city yesterday and figured it would be here today, which I was right :0)

Here is the box but as you can see I already opened it lol

The first thing I saw was the London New York Soho bag and went yes because I love the other bag I have of thier brand.

This bag it not my favorite color but for free. I can look past that and when I opened it. It has some cool stuff inside in that it has a place for my brushes and a zip it center pocket for like eye shadows and lip products, etc. Along with a nice mirror.

The next thing I saw was Rembrandt tooth paste and also was excited because tooth paste is so expensive these days and Rembrandt is one of the more expensive brands. I also saw that it has whitening which I need.

After looking at the tooth past I something else that had Rembrandt name on it and picked it out the box. I saw that it was whitening strips and I was so happy. I have been wanting to whiten my teeth but they are so expensive so I have not try any. So I can't wait to use the tooth paste and whitening strips.

Then I look in the box and saw lip gloss, which made me so happy because I love lip gloss. It is a Neutrogena Moisture Shine gloss in the Vita Plum. There was not just one but two which made even more happer but they are the same color would of liked to different color but I'm ok with the same color.

There was also some samples of Nivea Smooth Sensation body lotion for dry skin which I can use because my skin is dry lol. I also got a sample of Roc retinol correxion sensitive night cream. I probably won't try it unless someone that reads my blog wants to try it and give it a review.

The last two things that was in the box of goodies was a book called Harper's Bazaar Fashion by Lisa Armstrong. At first I was like it is a book? But then I looked inside its a pretty good book on fashion now and in history with famous people as well as makeup too. So I'm going to read it and might do a review on it. Its usually $24.95 and I got it for free yay.

The other thing I was kinda confused on why they sent me a CD. When I took it out it is music which it makes sense because singers use fashion in music videos and as well as there performances. I have not heard any of these singers before so I have to put it in my computer to check it out.

O the last thing I also got in the box was some coupons for 20% off on Tracy Reese online. I never heard of this person so I have to check it out.

I'm really happy for getting this Style Box of Joy and can't wait to try everything out.

Movies You Must See this Month

Hello again I'm back with what you should see this month in theater before they are gone.

The two movies I saw in the movie theater this month were so good I suggest you should go see in the theater before there gone.

The first movie was Thor: The Dark World it is the second movie of the Thor franchise. If you liked the first Thor movie you will most likely like this one. Well I did. I think you must see it on a big screen to see all of the special effects and animation.

The second movie is The Hunger Games: Catching Fire another second movie for the Hunger Games franchise. If you liked the first movie like the Thor movie you will like this one too. It has really good special effects but you don't have money you can skip it for seeing it on DVD.

So I think the one you really can't miss see in theater is Thor: The Dark World.

I'm not really into the Hunger Games but I like to see movies on the big screen. I love anything marvel so Thor is a must. If you want to see something else go see Hunger Games.

Or like me and see both :0)

Avon Haul and Review

Hello again I back with a Avon haul and review.

I ordered some things from my mom the Avon lady.

I ordered 4 Mega Impact eye liners because they were on sale for $2.99 instead of the normal price of $6 bucks. I also ordered the new Ultra Glazewear lip gloss and it was on sale too for $3.99 instead of the normal price of $6 bucks also.

The last thing I got was Avon naturals body shower gel in 15.2 fl. Oz that was $3.99 on sale its usually $10 which is a good deal.

I bummed that the two other things I ordered was sold out :0(

 That was the Mark color me lip crayon and the Mark drama case.

Ok now to fun stuff of trying the stuff I got.

I will start with the Mega Impact eye liners.

These are really nice eye liners they are just like the more expensive brand eye liners like Urban Decay 24/7 glide-on eye pencil and less expensive Milani liquif' eye metallic eye liner pencils that I love. Just like those other eye liners they do not smudge which is good. I'm so happy I got these and excited to try them on.

Next is the new Ultra glazewear lip gloss which I really like the old version and have couple of them before they changed them.

So I put on the old versions and the new one. I noticed there is a few thing different about them.

The old version is thicker than the newer one and the older one had a weird taste which the new one does not.

Also the new one kinda burns my lips and the old one does not.

So if I had to pick which one I like better it would be the older ones because they don't burn my lips. My lips are very sensitive and its hard to find lip products that don't burn my lips.

I might have to send this new one back to get money back. To bad they changed something in the new lip gloss that burns my lips.

The last thing I bought was the Avon Naturals body shower gel. There not much to review on this product but I love this shower gel and does what it should do. I have tried the cherry blossom scent before and really like it. I have not found anything that has a cherry blossom scent that I did not like yet.

COVERGIRL Hunger Games Nail Polish Review

Hello again I'm back with a review of one of the Covergirls nail polish from Hunger Games limited edition line called the Catching Fire Nail Polish Collection.

There is 9 in the collection and the names of each color is Flamed Out, Seared Bronze, Scalding Emerald, Rogue Red, Volet Flicker, Pyro Pink, Inferno, Sulfur Blaze, Black Heat. the two that I liked was Seared Bronze or Scalding Emerald but I decided to just buy one and I picked the Scalding Emerald.

Below is Scalding Emerald with 3-4 coats with out top coat.

I think this color is very pretty but I thought it would have more green in it because in the bottle it looks more green. Its a copper/ brown color with brown and green glitter. The color is not very pigmented in that I had to do more than 1 or 2 coats to cover my nails.

Would I buy this nail polish again I think not because for this little bottle is 3.5ml of nail polish was $2.97 at Walmart and every where else it is $3.79. When you can buy a 15ml of Sinful Color or any other cheaper brands for less than $2. The only reason I bought it is because I never seen this color in any other brand. But after trying it I know I will use up this bottle faster because I had to put many coats to cover my nail.

This Weeks Makeup Haul

Hello again I'm back with somethings I bought this week.

First I went to Walmart because I wanted see if they had any of the Christmas nail polishes by Sinful Color but they did not have any yet. So I decided to look at the Christmas makeup sets and found some bodycology body creams, which I really liked the sample I got in the mail that I reviewed. So I figured for a dollar I try some of the different scents. I got Naughty & Nice in Sweet Seduction and Secret Addiction as well as a limited time only in Frosted Sugarplum.

I also picked up one of the Cover girl limited edition nail polishes for the movie Hunger Games in the color Scalding Emerald. 

Then I stopped by the Dollar Tree to see if they had anything good in makeup section. I found one thing and it is a 3 in 1 Nail Art Pen in a gold color. I can't wait to try it to see if its better than Sally Hansen's Nail Art Pens.

Next I went to Walgreens because I know they carry Sinful Color nail polishes. I was right in that they had a Christmas display of the Sinful Color nail polishes. I wanted all of them but I held myself back and only got two that could not pass up. So the colors I got are Holiday Rebel and Top Me Off, which are new colors. I might go back and get some of the new
 Tinsel n' Ice colors because there are pretty too.
