Dollar Tree Hauls

Hello my MJF followers,
I have some dollar tree hauls to show you which is a mix of makeup, Halloween and other items.

I found four of the Milani power lip in cabaret, pink lemonade, macaroon, and mango. I also got some Halloween tape with some ghost, skulls, candy corn, blob monster and other monsters so cute.

I was so happy to find disney star wars bags so I got chewbacca and yoda. I also got two boxes of the mountain high premium coffee hot chocolate which are really good. I also picked up so solar dancers. The boy scarecrow and swinging ghost a gave away and I kept the girl scarecrow and the other swinging ghost. The last thing I got was Sassy+Chic Nail art.

In this haul I got another Halloween tape with skulls on it you know I had to get it. I also found one of the profusion color canvas palette in 01.

In this haul I got some Milky Way caramels which is my new favorite candy. I also a Russell Stover caramel apple which was good too but need more of an apple flavor. I also got two packs of 24 creatures for my costume. I was so happy to find the baby lips and I got a few of the colors but not all of them. I got berry bomb, minty sheer and oh! orange. The last thing I picked up in this haul was Rubies Vampire Blood to use for one of the day of my lip swatch challenge.

*Oops I forgot this haul where I bought the 3d Halloween place matte. I got a 49ers tape despenser for my dad. I also got more of the hot chocolate. I found some Milani Ultra fine liquid liner in Sparkling Turquoise so I got two in case I really like it. I picked up a skull platter for my Halloween jars. I got three Light up pumpains for the little boys I watch. I also got some Pumpkin solar lights.

This last haul I found more of the Wood craft candles and I've been burning my apple chain scent so I got another one. I also picked up more L.A. Color art deco polishes because my other ones I had from another brand dried out so I picked up a yellow called his light and a white. I also found the Halloween transfers that people been hauling and had to grab two different designs in case there was no more left after Halloween.

Well that's all of my Dollar tree hauls for now.

I hope you enjoyed see my hauls and have a Happy Halloween!!

Until next time,
Mel

Halloween: Witch Spider Web Eye Look

Hello my MJF followers,
As I said on instagram I been wanting to recreate my witch eye look I did a couple years ago where I was witch for Halloween.

Profusion Color Canvas Eyeshadow Palette 01
Products I used:
Sephora perfecting eye primer
Nyx Jumbo Eye pencil milk
Profusion Color Canvas Eyeshadow palette 01
1- eyelid
3- crease and next to outer v
9- outer v
10- brow bone and inner corner on top of 1
Jordana Cateye Liner Black Leather
Nyx Candy Glitter liner Disco Queen
Covergirl The Super Sizer Mascara Black

If you seen my old picture of this witch eye look on my intagram page you can see that I improve this eye look. This time I used my new Profusion palette that I got from dollar tree which I will be posting soon or maybe next. I used less webs this time and brought it more above my eye than on bottom. I also add some glitter which I love. I think it look much better than old creation of  my Halloween witch eye look from years ago. I really like this profusion palette it less powdery than my other ones that I own as I remember. I might have to compare this palette to my older ones. They might of reformulated the eyeshadows for the better. Anyways I really happy with my recreation Halloween witch spider web eye look. This would be an easy Halloween make up for a last minute costume idea.

I actually had fun doing this recreation eye look and might do more Halloween eye looks next year.

I hope you have a Happy Halloween.

Until next time,
Mel

Target Hauls

Hello MJF followers,

In this haul I got a few Halloween items that I had to have. I got this cute Trick or Treat sign for my room decoration and it was $1.00. I got a Halloween light banz that has bats on it and lights up orange which was $1.00. I also got another rainbow ball for my dog jack because he loves the other one and got a back up because it was only $1.00. I found some of the Halloween Trrtlz so I had to get the bats one and it was $1.00. I wanted to try the box of boogers for $.98.  The last thing I got was Reese's peanut butter pumpkins which are my favorite for $1.00.

In this haul I only picked of two things because I went to find a wig for my Beetle Juice Costume. So I found this star wars bag in the dollar section for $1.00. I love star wars so I had to get it. I found one wig that I could used for my costume which was a short bob wig that was $8.00. I will be posting my costume after Halloween. If you fallow me on instagram you already seen it and if you on instagram go follow me.

Halloween: Orange and Black Eye Look

Hello my MJF followers,
Since I've been feeling better yesterday I decided I want to do a Halloween themed orange and black eye look.
Which I never wore bright orange and was feeling the Halloween spirit.

L.A. Colors eyeshadow brick collection neon

Products I used:
Sephora perfecting eye primer
Nyx Jumbo eye pencil milk
La Colors eyeshadow collection brick Neons
1- brow bone and inner corner
5- eyelid
6- crease
12- outer v
Jordana Cateye Liner Black Leather
Cover girl the Super Sizer Mascara

I think I only used L.A. colors eyeshadow brick neon palette like once and been using it in my lip art for the lip swatch challenge. So I wanted to do a Halloween orange and black eye look with it and I'm really happy with the look. I forgot or never noticed how pretty the orange was it had some pretty glitter in which you know I love glitter. I was really surprised how pigmented these shadows are on top of Nyx jumbo eye pencil in milk. I'm so happy that I have and will be doing more eye looks with it.

Until next time,
Mel

Bath and Body Works Halloween Haul

Hello my MJF followers,
I have an Bath and Body Works Haul that I was meaning to post but at lest I will be posting it before Halloween.

Since last year I wanted a bat pocket bac holder and last year when I went they were sold out and this year they were also sold out except the Trick Of Treat Gift Set $20 so I figured it would be a good deal because I had a coupon which made it $16 with 20% coupon. It came with Signature Collection
Body Lotion and Shower Gel Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin (Top Notes: Heirloom Pumpkin, Crisp Apple, Fresh Ginger Mid Notes: Ginger Snap, Autumn Cinnamon, Sheer Jasmine .Dry Notes: Spiced Vanilla, Golden Amber, Hint of Rum.) $12.50 each, Bat Pocket Bac, PocketBac Sanitizing Hand Gel
Vampire Blood (A wonderfully Wicked blend of blood red berries, jasmine & Transylvanian plum) each $1.75. So it would of came to $32.25 value with 20% off coupon it was 25.80
so I Saved $9.80.

I also picked up some of the Pocket Bac Sanitizing Hand Gel in the new package because I have the old package from last year and will not fit this new pocket bac holder.
They were 5 for  $6.00 with 20% off so $.96 each $4.80 for 5 and the scents I got where:
Vampire Blood - Wicked Plum
Hoot -eerie pear -Give germs the hoot with spooky sparkling pear & crisp green apple
Ghoul Friend-berry Scary-A ghoulish & girly blend of strawberry, peonies & twisted citrus
Boo-ghostly raspberry
Twisted Web- Creepy Orange-Ensnare germs in a twisted treat of sparkling lemon & fresh cedar

The last thing I got was a Mini Candle Boo - $4.50 for free with coupon which was the last one and I was very luck.

I so happy to have a bat pocket bac it so cute even thought the eyes don't flash but I figured it would of died after a while right?

I hope you enjoyed my Bath and Body Works haul even thought its kinda late.

Until next time,

Halloween Mani #2: Wild Violets Candy Corn

Hello my MJF followers,
I'm back with another Halloween Mani and this time I wanted to do some candy corn which is a iconic Halloween candy.

Products I used:
Revlon ColorStay Base Coat
Revlon Parfumerie Wild Violets
Sinful Colors Mystery Moonshine
Sinful Colors Snow White
Sinful Colors Nail Art Orange Alert
Diamond Cosmetics nail art Bold Yellow
Milani Quick Shine Top Coat

I had a little trouble with mani which was Bold Yellow I used was old and kinda goopy which was a hassle to get it on evenly. Also my top coat was getting to goopy too so I switch to a new bottle so some of my nails had bubble in it which I hate. But besides that my candy corn came out pretty good well at lest I think so. I really love Wild Violets which is a metallic dark purple and you know from my last Halloween mani that I've been loving purples lately. I also dug in to my collection to get out Mystery Moonshine which is so pretty over Wild Violets.

Until next time,
Mel

Review: Disney Villains Ursula Cast A Spell Beauty Book

Hello my MJF followers,
I'm here to give you my thoughts on Ursula's beauty book which is the last Villain in the Disney Villains Cast A Spell Beauty Books.  If you have not see the other beauty books in the collection there is Evil Queen and Maleficent. They are all limited edition and sold at Walgreens for $9.99. So lets getting into this beauty book.

Cover of beauty book
Ursula is my favorite of all of the women Disney villains. They did a beautiful job on the art work for her.

back of beauty book

inside of beauty book
In this beauty book which comes with nine eyeshadows, two blush, blush brush, sliver eyeliner pencil, lip gloss.

Makeup Guide
This makeup guide is the same as the other two but helps you get an Ursula look.

Close up of makeup

Swatch of Eyeshadows with no primer
These eyeshadows are the same quality as the last two beauty books in the collection but this beauty book has blues, greens and purples which goes with the theme of Ursula. There is also a mix of mattes and shimmer also. I really love Nautilus shell and dark waters.

Swatches of Blushes, Eye pencil and lip gloss
In this beauty book it came with two blushes which are quite pretty. Poor Unfortunate Soul is bright pink with gold shimmer and Kiss the girl is a lighter pink with also a light gold shimmer which is so pretty. I see myself using Kiss the girl because Poor unfortunate soul might be too bright for me. It also comes with a eyeliner pencil in Black Magic which is dark silver color which is pretty and might be nice were on the bottom lash. The last thing in the beauty book is a lip gloss which is not the color of the tube which is kinda a bummer because its a different color but I like that is a lighter color.

All in all I really like this beauty book and happy to have it.
I think its a good buy if you love Ursula and makeup.

Until next time,
Mel

Review: Disney Villains Maleficent Cast A Spell Beauty Book

Hello my MJF followers,
I was going to post this review yesterday but a big bummer happen which was my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 would not turn on and I usually used my tablet to post on my blog. Since I have to get it fixed I will have to us my big lap top computer which is fine but was much easier to use my tablet. :0( I will have to get fixed after I get back from Hawaii so I will not be able to post anything on my blog until I'm back home from my trip. I'm planing to post the Ursula beauty book before I leave. If you follow me on intagram you know my Samsung s3 crapped out last month and I had to get a new phone so I new my tablet would be next because I had it before the phone but I was hoping it would last one more trip.
Well lets get into the reason you all here to see that is the second Villain in the Disney Villains Collection which is the Maleficent Cast A Spell Beauty Book.

Cover of Beauty Book
As I said in the last review of Evil Queen I love the art work of the beauty books.

Back of Beauty Book

Inside beauty book
I love the mirror how you can look in the mirror and be Maleficent wearing the horns. I also love the Dragon behind it.

Makeup Guide
You know I like that they have a guide to get the Maleficent look that I never fallow lol.
Closer look of beauty book
I fell love with this beauty book because all of the purples and greens which you know I love purple, greens and blues. I was also happy that there was a liquid eyeliner which I like better than the pencil. It was also nice it came with a brush.

Swatches of Eyeshadows
Just like the other beauty book it also comes with nine eyeshdaows and this time there was no over spray which I happy. There also a few mattes as well as glitter and satin eyeshadows which is nice for a pretty eye look. The mattes are Flame and Spindle. The glitter/ shimmer are Slided, Dragon, Spellbound and Bramble and rest are satins.

Swatches of Blush, Liquid Eyeliner, Lipstick and Primer
In this beauty book has a blush unlike the evil queen which said pressed powder but I really like this blush its pink/peachy glittery bush which is so pretty and love these color blushes. I was so happy they put a liquid eyeliner and its a matte black with a brush which I love. The lipstick a pretty purple/pink glitter lipstick which nice too. I'm not really a fan of the primer because I used in my eye look with this beauty book that I will be posting next and it creased on me but I was expecting much.

Lipstick: Revenge

If you love Maleficent and purple, green eyeshadows and glitter you might want to find the beauty book. I like this more than the evil queen which was more neural beauty book. I love color and this  one does not disappoint. Also for $9.99 its not bad for what you get because can do a whole look with this beauty book.

Until next time,
Mel

First Eye Look: Disney Villians Evil Queen Cast A Spell Beauty Book

Hello my MJF followers,
I'm really excited to show you my first eye look with the Evil Queen Disney Villains Cast A Spell Beauty Book.

Products I used:

Avon Eyeshadow Primer Light Beige
Disney Villains Evil Queen Cast A Spell Beauty Book
Vain - base for Eyeshadows on eyelid and lower lash
Caldron - crease
Magic Spell - brow bone and inner corner eyelid
Pure Evil - Eyelid and lower lash
Curse - blend color for Pure Evil and Evil Beauty
Evil Beauty - outer v and lower lash
Jordana Cateye Liner Black Leather
Wet N Wild Max Volume Plus Mascara in Amp'd Black.

As you can see I wanted to do a neutral brown eye look because I wanted to use Vain the eye pencil as a base that came with beauty book. I thing it helped the eyes be more sparkly how I like it. lol. I really liked how this eye looked came out and can't wait to try to do plum eye look with the other eyeshadows in the beauty book. I really sad that Curse was not as pretty before I swatched it because as you read in my review it was not what it looked same after removing the top layer. :0(

If you have not already check out my other eye look with Ursula shimmer palette and keep an eye out for my other reviews and eye looks with the beauty books in the Villains Collection.

Until next time,
Mel

Review: Disney Villains Evil Queen Castle A Spell Beauty Book

Hello my MJF followers,
I'm here to show you the Evil Queen Cast A Spell beauty book from the limited edition Disney Villains Collection. There are three Villains in this Cast A Spell collection and will be posting about them also. So lets get into what I thought about this beauty book.

Cover
I love the art work like always they do a great job on get each character.

Back of beauty book

Inside beauty book
I love the mirror because its just like mirror from Snow White which is awesome and the pattern that they put every where else in the book has pictures from the other villains in the collection like dragon from Maleficent and the eels from Ursula.

Makeup guide to get Evil Queen look
Just like the other beauty book there is a makeup guide to create a Evil Queen look.

Close up of beauty book
Here is a close up of what is in the beauty book. In this beauty book it has nine eyeshadows, a blush, black eyeliner pencil, lip gloss, eye pencil and a eyeshadow brush. So lets getting to the swatches.

Eyeshadow Swatches no primer
As you can see there all neutral and plum colors and they are all very pigment with out primer. The only eyeshadow that was Curse because as you see from close up of the beauty book it was a nice brown gold shimmery color and when get under that top layer its a different color which I really don't like. Why did they do that? There are mix of shimmer and matte colors also. Caldron and Dungeon are mattes and rest has shimmer.

Pressed powder, eyeliner, lip gloss and eye pencil swatches
I really like trickery is pretty but I don't know if it a blush or bronzer because it just says pressed powder so I guess you can use it for either one. The eyeliner pencil nice too but I probably will not use it. I like the lip gloss because its not sticky but it have a weird smell which I describe well its like vanilla/butter smell but smell goes away. I really like Vain its a nice eyeshadow pencil by itself and as base which I did a eye look with. The eyeshadow brush also nice for blending eyeshadows but not for packing on to the eyelid.

All in all I like this beauty book even with one bad eyeshadow. If you love Disney Villains and the Evil Queen you will like this beauty book. $9.99 is not bad price for what you get this beauty book. Keep an eye out on my first eye look with this beauty book that I will post next. Also so the Maleficent and Ursula beauty books in the future.

Until next time,
Mel
