Squares Design Mani

Hello my MJF follwers,
I have another nail art for nubs Monday mani.
This week I had so many idea after having a week off.
I decided to do this squares design mani.
outside direct sunlight

indoor in sunlight

The products I used:
Pure Ice Splash
L.A. Color art deco Limon
Jordana calcium boost base coat
Unforgettable moments quick dry top coat

I have been wanting to use the Pure Ice splash because its such a pretty summer color that reminds me of the pool or water. I also wanted to use my new l.a. color art deco polishes, I got and the green color yelled use me. I'm so happy I did these two colors are so pretty and glittery/ bright together. It looks best in the sun light out side.
For the square design was kinda a mistake because I did not know what I wanted to do but after drawing a line I thought to myself square so I did outlines of three squares which I really like.

What do you think of this weeks mani?

Also don't forget to check out the rest of the nail art for nubs mani's this week.

Hello my MJF followers,
I have been on vacation in Tahoe for a week so I was unable to post a smoky eye Friday last week but I'm back with one this week.
This weeks Smoky Eye Friday look is a Neutral brown Smoky eye with a pop of purple and Brown glitter.

Too Faced Glamour to go ( light cream color on brow bone as highlight)
NYX candy glitter in Disco Queen (on top of NYX Powder black liner)
NYX powder black liner

I really love this smoky eye look and I fell in love with my new NYX candy glitter liner which I will be posting the haul from what I got in Tahoe soon which I bought a few of NYX candy glitter liners and other goodies.
I will be do more eye looks with glitter liners in future.

Memorial Day Mani

Hello my MJF followers,
I'm back with another nail art for nubs Monday.
I come from a family that had some family members served in our country's armed forces and in honor of Memorial Day I did a Memorial theme mani with red, white and blue.

The products I used:
Jordana Calcium boost base coat
Sinful Colors professional Snow Me White
Pure Ice Freedom
Sinful Colors Nail Art Be My Valentine
Unforgettable Moments Quick Dry Top Coat

This mani gave me some trouble this week in that the white and red ran together when put a top coat and I could not get the red stripes straight as I wanted.
Also Pure Ice Freedom was really hard to work with in that I had to dig in the polish to find the silver Stars and I had to use my fingers to place them on.
All in all it came out ok but I'm not really a fan of this mani. :0(
I did really like how Freedom looks on white and how it shimmers in the sun is so pretty.

What do you think of my mani this week?

Don't forget to check out the other nail art for nubs this week.

Happy Memorial Day !
I will never forget about the men and women that fought and die for our country.

Until next time.

Pinchme Samples

Hello my MJF followers,
I'm here with two of my pinchme samples that were delayed by pinchme. So I figured I just put them together as on collective pinchme sample post.
If you want to know more about pinchme check out my other posts.

In my first bag of samples I got a sample of Advil PM and I was also lucky to get a full size sample of one of my favorite nail polish brands Sinful Colors. We got to choose what color we would like to try so I pick this light blue one which is called Tidal Wave.

The second bag I got a perfume sample of Beyonce new parfume called Rise.

I can't wait to try all of my free samples especially the nail polish.

Until next time.

Walgreens and CVS Haul

Hello my MJF followers,
I'm back with another Walgreens and CVS haul.
A few days ago I went to walgreens to see if they got in the Wet N Wild summer nail polish collection but sadly they did not have them yet.
But what I found was some good deals on elf and milani which I had to buy.
I got three of the E.L.F Lip balm tints for .99 cents each on sale they are regularly $2.00.
So I got all the colors they had which was Berry, Grapefruit and Nude. I will be doing a review on these.
I also got two of the Milani baked eyeshadows from the runway eye collection in Beach Sand and Golden Touch. You might think I crazy to get two of the same color but they are not the same. Beach Sand is a light brown with silver glitter and Golden Touch is a light brown with gold glitter and they were on sale for $3.99 each regularly $7.99.

Then I saw on  Nouveaucheap blog that CVS was having a sale on Milani products so I figured I would check it out. So I have been wanting to try these two products that I bought. The two items I got was Milani baked eyeshadow in Green Fortune and Milani nail lacquer in Sugar Coated. They both 50% off. The eyeshadow was $4.15 and the nail polish was $2.99 and I had a .50 off coupon for cvs also so I saved $7.64 which is 54% saving value yay.

I can't wait to try all of these products I bought.

What do you think about my haul?

Until next time.

Coral and Brown Smoky Eye

Hello my MJF followers,
I'm back with another smoky eye look for smoky eye Friday.
This week I wanted to do a Coral and Brown look as you can see.

The products I used for this smoky eye look:

Wet N Wild eyeshadow single brulee (brow bone highlight)
Avon True color eyeshadow duo Sunkissed shell (eyelid color)/ refreshing coral (crease color)
Wet N Wild Eyeshadow palette in Comfort Zone (left side palette eyelid color and crease color in outer v area)
Avon big color eye pencil perfect peach (base color for eyeshadows)
E.L.F eyelid primer sheer
Milani easy liner glitter eyeliner Terra Brown

This weeks smoky eye is not as bright as last weeks and more an everyday summer look. This summer coral and bronze browns are in this year and this smoky eye is perfect for summer day at the beach or by the pool.
I'm really happy how this smoky eye came out and will be wearing this pretty coral eyeshadow Trio again this summer.

What do you think of this weeks Smoky Eye Look?

Don't forget to check out the other smoky eye looks this week.

Until next time.
I hope you have great week end.

Mermaid Mani

Hello my MJF followers,
I back with another nail art for nubs Monday mani.
This weeks mani is a Mermaid theme as you can see.

This is the polishes swatched before nail art:

Top is Pure ice Free Spirit and on bottom is Sea Glass on top of Free Spirit.
I wanted to show you how the pure ice polishes looked before I did the nail art because Free Spirit and Sea Glass are really pretty by there self's. Also to show you that Sea Glass has a green base which makes Free Spirit more bright and greener which is awesome.

The products I used for the Mermaid Mani:
Jordana Calcium Base Coat
Pure Ice Free Spirit and Sea Glass
Avon Nail Art Delicate White
Salon Express Plate with sea horse
Avon Dual Ended Dotter tool
Tooth picks
Donna Michelle Nail Art Glitter in green and blue

I'm really happy how my mermaid mani came out but I kinda bummed that the white fish scales were so thick next time I might have try a different white or one of my nail art pens instead of a tooth pick and white nail polish. This was my first attempt in do a fish scale pattern on my nails so I was not expecting much. I really love the pure ice Sea Glass from the new Sparkling Sea collection and I can't wait to try the other one I got in my Wal-Mart haul. If you think pure ice Sea Glass is pretty you might want to go to Wal-Mart because I think they are limited edition and for the price you will not brake the bank.

What do you think about this weeks mani?
Don't forget to check out the other nail for nubs mani's this week.
Until next time.
